Do you meal plan?
Some people do prep for weekly meals on the weekends or at least the day before.
By making big batches of Multi Grain Pancake Mix and storing it in the pantry, pancakes can be made quickly and easily with the pancake mix already done beforehand.
The pancake mix is a healthy, whole grain pancake mix that includes oats and flaxseed, making it high in protein and fiber!
Although these are simple Buttermilk Pancakes, there are lots of additions you can add to these pancakes. Basically, 2-3 tablespoons of any of these ingredients can be added.
Pancake Additions
- chopped nuts
- berries
- chopped apples or pears
- raisins or dried cranberries
- grated coconut
- chocolate chips
- culinary lavender
- spices like nutmeg, ginger or cardamom (1 teaspoon)
These pancakes are soft and fluffy – healthy and delicious!
Perfect with syrup and fresh fruit!
All the pancake lovers out there raise your hand! Are you partial to sweet breakfast pancakes or do you think pancakes make the perfect snack at any time, whether they are sweet or savory.
