I am so honored to be hosting Swathi’s Favorite Recipes event this month. Many bloggers and especially those that blog on desserts all seem to be chocoholics. Every time I log on to Pinterest, Twitter or Facebook, I am bombarded with chocolate recipes. Meanwhile, despite the fact that I have been blogging for about 6 years, only a handful of chocolate recipes are on my blog.
I am a fruit person…Give me strawberry ice cream over chocolate any time. I have no problems digging into a bowl of vanilla pudding but I must be really starving to dig into the chocolate bowl of pudding with the same zeal. I am inviting all to contribute sweet treats using fruits and veggies.
Berries, Banana or Mango….Zucchini, Carrot or Pumpkin….or let’s stretch the imagination a bit and try some recipes with beets, cassava or plantain!
Put on those thinking caps and submit your fruit and veggie based dessert recipes!
Rules:
- As many new recipes as fits the theme and up to two recipes from the archives are permitted. Archived recipes must be updated with the logo or linkbacks to this page and to Swathi’s page here.
- Recipes must be submitted between April 1st and April 30th, 2014.
- Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free recipes are acceptable.
- Both Vegetarian and Non-Veg. are acceptable.
- Mandatory linkback to this announcement post and to Swathi’s page here. Although not mandatory, usage of logo is appreciated as it helps spread the word.
