Cold Weather Soups

Thank you for sharing!

I usually complain about the amount of heat I get in my apartment during the winter. The news will say we are in an energy crisis and need to conserve energy, yet I’ll be walking around my apartment with a tank top and shorts in the dead of winter.

That wasn’t the case this week. Although I could hear the heat coming through the vents, the high winds knocking against my windows had me fully clothed with an extra sweater on and drinking huge mugs of tea throughout the day. When it’s 6 degrees out your window like it was today, nothing keeps you warm like hot bowls of soup. As cold as it is here in New York, I really can’t complain when I look at how the people in the midwest are suffering with negative double digit numbers.

Although I have been posting soups often lately, I thought I’d revisit some of my older soups with you, if you need ideas to help you keep warm.

Morroccan Lamb Soup
