Here is another delicious apple recipe from Sandhya’s site. To make it more filling, I added a banana as this was going to be my breakfast on the go at the beginning of a very busy day as I only had time to have a quick piece of toast before I was out the door with this smoothie in hand, so that I could drink it on the train.
It made the perfect breakfast on the go on a hot summer day!
- 1 apple, cored
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
