Bloggers around the country and even some from out of the country will be descending en masse upon NYC this summer for one of the largest, if not the largest, annual blogging conference, Blog Her.

For the food bloggers who will be coming, NYC is a great place to shop for props. Chain stores like TJ Maxx & Home Goods are a great resource that may even be in your home city, but your home city doesn’t have Fish’s Eddy.

Fish’s Eddy is a shop that sells all kinds of plates, ramekins, spoons, hand held cooking utensils and more. Most of their products have a vintage style to them, although that does not exclude some modern styles. Located at 889 Broadway, it is easily accessible from the Union Square subway station. Try to come on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, so you can also take in the Union Square Greenmarket. The Greenmarket is the largest farmer’s market in the NYC area.

The price range goes from some things which are quite expensive to the discount room in the back where you can sometimes get pieces as low as .50 cents.

Here is a photo gallery of some photos I took on my last visit.

Vintage stuff from Hilton Hotels, Pan Am airlines and other classic American companies are often available.
