Tropical Breakfast Smoothie
Thick, creamy and fruity, it is very satisfying. While healthy, it is still sweet & delicious – perfect for adults and kids alike!

- 8 pitted dates
- 1/3 cup oat bran
- 1 cup 2% lowfat milk
- 1/2 pineapple chopped
- 1 mango
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 2 teaspoons flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon wheat germ
Soak oat bran and dates in milk overnight.
The next morning, place the flaxseed in a blender and grind them.
Add all other ingredients and blend well, until a homogenous smoothie is achieved
