Tropical Breakfast Smoothie

Thick, creamy and fruity, it is very satisfying. While healthy, it is still sweet & delicious – perfect for adults and kids alike!

  • 8 pitted dates
  • 1/3 cup oat bran
  • 1 cup 2% lowfat milk
  • 1/2 pineapple chopped
  • 1 mango
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon wheat germ


  • Soak oat bran and dates in milk overnight.
  • The next morning, place the flaxseed in a blender and grind them.
  • Add all other ingredients and blend well, until a homogenous smoothie is achieved
