Add the spices to a ssaucepan and let them dry roast for 1 minute.
Add 2 cups of the water and boil for 5 minutes so that the spices can infuse.
Add the piloncillo, chocolate and the salt.
On medium heat, let it simmer until the piloncillo and chocolate melts.
Meanwhile, in a dry skillet toast the masa until it starts to change color.
Transfer the piloncillo chocolate mix with all of the spices to a blender.
In a bowl, mix the toasted masa with 1 cup water until smooth.
Add masa mix to the blender with the milk, evaporated milk and vanilla.
Blend well until everything is well mixed.
In a saucepan, transfer the mixture from the blender.
On medium low heat, let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
