Strawberry Slushie

This easy kid friendly Strawberry Slush is the perfect summer treat. A healthy slushie with just 4 ingredients. This can be easily adapted to either a Daiquiri Cocktail for adults

  • 16 oz. frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 6 to 8 basil leaves torn
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • few shots of rum for daiquiri version only


  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until well blended and slushy.
  • Transfer to a glass and serve immediately.


  • Easily transform these Strawberry Slushies into an instant Strawberry Daiquiri by adding a few shots of rum.
  • You can also follow this same method to make other fruit slushies with pineapple, mangoes, peaches or other berries.
  • You can omit the basil or use other herbs like mint, rosemary or lavender.
