Garlic Herb Baked Halloumi

Ingredients

  • 1 stalks oregano
  • 2 stalks rosemary or any variety of mixed herbs
  • 1 finely chopped garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 9 oz. sliced halloumi

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Finely chop the leaves of the oregano and rosemary. Chopped herbs should measure 2 teaspoons.
  • In a small bowl, combine herbs, garlic and olive oil. Stir to combine.
  • Brush a little of the olive oil mixture on the bottom of a cookie sheet.
  • Lay out the slices of halloumi on top.
  • Brush the rest of the olive oil mixture on top of the halloumi slices.
  • Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Flip over and bake for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve with roasted potatoes.

Notes

Any combination of herbs can be used like oregano, rosemary, parsley, cilantro and thyme.
