Loved the addition of mascarpone cheese and nutella in Khaliat Nahal. During Ramadan the Arabic sweet shops here are laden with really large trays of varied Arabic sweets. Undoubtedly homemade stuff is the best since one can control the sweetness. Nice post. Will try out this recipe since I have some mascarpone cheese left in the fridge.
