Even if India isn’t on the upcoming travel list, the Around India in 80 trains book is really a memoir also about the author who grew up in England reconnecting with her Indian roots so it is such an interesting read even if you aren’t going to India soon!

I highly recommend that book. The author also gives really useful detailed info about her experiences and sometimes the craziness you have to get to in order to schedule your train tickets in India.

We just give money for others because we’re not sure what they like. But, of all the gifts idea listing here, the books are interested me the most. I am intrigued to read both the The Around India In 80 Trains and Around The World In 80 Trains. The title itself says something about amazing adventures in the books.
